"Spire (Mosaic for Organ)" is a dramatic work commissioned for a concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Walcker organ in Ulm Cathedral (Germany). Ulm Cathedral possesses the world's tallest church spire. "The Lighthouses" was commissioned for the 12th Sendlinder Orgelnacht in the Himmelfahrtskirche in Munich-Sendling, Germany. It takes its inspiration from the role of lighthouses as an aid to navigation and as a symbol of comfort, security, and stability admist turbulent circumstances.
