Details:

"Fenestral Nocturnes" (2020) was commissioned by organist Philip Hartmann to mark the 50th anniversary of the completion of the stained glass windows in the Pauluskirche in Ulm, Germany. The 16 dramatic windows were created by the German artist Klaus Arnold (1928-2009). The three movements take inspiration from several of the windows and Arnold's distinctive postmodern artistic style for portraying the Biblical ideas. (The three movements are: The Damascus Road, The Good Shepherd, and The Eternal City of God)
