Great as an opener or closer, the exuberant Festive Joy! opens with antiphonal brass ensembles playing the sounds of cathedral bells joyfully ringing in the Christmas season. Later, the organ takes over with a middle eastern style melody inspired by the land of Christ’s birth. Finally, the two musical styles embrace in a joyful, festive dance celebrating the birth of the King of Kings….huge ending! Works in a cathedral or in a concert hall. Appropriate for any joyful occasion!
