Details:

Two Movements, 6 minutes total. For reed quintet and optional microwave, some extended and theatrical techniques. A piece about things that explode - an 18 second clip of fireworks on the 4th of July yields the first movement's rhythms; a similar recording of popcorn cooking in a microwave provides the rhythms and pitches for the second movement.
